Apartment Tour

Back in January, Chris and I made a move from Richardson/Dallas to North Fort Worth so that Chris would no longer have to commute an hour+ one way! We moved into an apartment for the first time in our marriage.

As Roger has gotten bigger, the apartment has gotten smaller, haha. But, it’s been fun. Definitely pros and cons living in a small space. Pros = less space to clean. Cons = being able to hear any noise anywhere. Another con = running to my car in the rain. But it’s been SO nice to live so close to Chris’ office! He went from 1 hr 15 min commute to a 5 min. commute! We do miss our friends and family that we lived so close to, but we still get to see them fairly often and we’re working on establishing a community over here.

It’s V small. The front door opens to an open kitchen and living room. To the right is Roger’s room and bathroom and laundry room. I’m basically hiding all of our random crap and all of my stationery/office stuff in his closet. To the right is our bedroom and closet. Thankfully the closets are a good size.

Things are always changing because I like to swap items around the house. Of course there are always things I’d love to replace or pieces I’d like to buy, but I try to be good to our budget. OKURRR!

A lot of items I like to find at estate sales, resale shops and thrift stores, then Ikea, Home Goods, Target, Wayfair, Overstock.

ANYWAYS, I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE FUN TO SHOW Y’ALL AROUND!

It always looks this clean.

Just kidding.

I do love clean though.

There it is! It’s short and sweet and small. And no one wants to see our kitchen because it’s boring, v basic apartment kitchen.
